Ruth Toal comes to us with an extensive and diverse
background in medical computer software, corporate
training, hospital & clinic software and implementation
support, web software testing, website design and
maintenance, careers mentoring, guidance, personnel
recruitment
& placement, and health insurance.
Born
and raised in Michigan, after following her career
to Washington, D.C. and then to San Diego, CA, she
emigrated from the USA in 1992 to Israel to follow
the inner whispers of her heart. While living in Israel,
she delved even deeper into the Jewish roots of the
Christian faith, which included studying Hebrew (one
of her passions) at the university level. Her love
of history and God's blood family is intense.
While living in Israel, before returning to the world
of medical and Internet-based computer software (only
this time in Hebrew), she developed her own very successful
small business, making a name for herself as The
Pet Caretaker of Jerusalem. She and her pet
business were featured in a full page article in The
Jerusalem Post in May 1996.
In 1999 she was introduced to her husband who lived
in Northwest Ireland. In April 2000 they were married
& Ruth moved to Ireland to begin a new life with her
beloved. In May 2001 Roarke Nathaniel was born; in
February 2003 Isaac John was born into the Toal Family
as son number two; and, then, their 3rd son, Irah
Benjamin Erez Toal, surprised all with having a Due
Date of December 25. He chose to arrive, however,
on Friday, December 30, 2005 after much suspense.
Ruth's interest in aromatherapy began in the late
80's while on corporate business travel as a medical
software-training analyst. It started with one book,
which led to one bottle of essential oil. Over the
years, and after buying and reading many, many books,
and after participation in countless aromatherapy
workshops across the USA and in Israel, after accumulating,
applying and experimenting with a vast pharmacy of
oils, Ruth finally enrolled in an official International
Federation of Professional Aromatherapists (IFPA),
ITEC-accredited course leading to a Diploma in
Aromatherapy.
To
her existing qualifications she has added both a post-graduate
certificate in Advanced Aromatherapy and Massage
in Pregnancy as well as a WELL MOTHER Pregnancy
Massage APNT Certificate of Attendance.
She
currently is a regional officer for the Irish Massage
Therapists Association (IMTA).
M. Ruth Toal is an Aromatherapy Specialist, not just
an Aromatherapist. She is passionate about essential
oils, their chemistry, their therapeutic value, and
applying them in preventative health care, complementary
medical care, basic first aid, as disinfectants in
the home, as preparation aids before interviews &
exams, as mystery ingredients in cooking, to enhance
special occasions, work environments, relationships
& prayer.
